Among the products that are being developed under the aegis of the Flight Safety Foundation Ground Accidention Prevention (GAP) program are a set of “e-tools” that can be conveniently and centrally accessed through the Flight Safety Foundation web site by ramp supervisors and workers to review information on best practices in ramp safety. The first of these e-tools is a three-part video on towing corporate/business aircraft. The first video (11 minutes, 20 seconds) provides best practices for the safe use of aircraft-tow vehicles. The second video (12 minutes, 20 seconds) provides best practices for safely towing aircraft. The third video (14 minutes, 15 seconds) provides best practices for general ramp safety. Part One of “Best Practices for Safely Towing Aircraft” should begin playing automatically below.
