Flight Safety Foundation presented to James S. Waugh For his 30 years of dedicated service in the corporate aviation community. A commercial, multi-engine and instrument-rated pilot, Waugh has served as director of marketing, vice president of marketing and executive vice president of FlightSafety International since joining the company in 1976. During that period, and thanks in large part to his marketing skills, FlightSafety International has trained countless pilots in its learning centers, which now number more than 40. Waugh has served as a member of the Flight Safety Foundation Board of Governors and as a director of FlightSafety Boeing and the National Business Aviation Association. He is past chairman of the NBAA Associate Member Advisory Council, where he was chairman of the Education Committee and led the development of the popular AVKids.com web site and programs. He has served as co-chairman of the Aviation Symposium at the Risk Insurance Management Society annual meetings for more than 10 years. Flight Safety Foundation is pleased to recognize James S. Waugh for his contributions to safety in corporate aviation. FSF 51st annual Corporate Aviation Safety Seminar Stuart Matthews |
