Flight Safety Foundation For Outstanding Service is presented to Hans Almér
For making safety a high priority in his distinguished aviation career. His 32 years of flight experience included service as a pilot and engineer in the Swedish Air Force, five years as an airline pilot, five years with the Swedish Civil Aviation Authority Flight Safety Department and 22 years with Saab Aircraft, from which he retired as president. As an active member of Flight Safety Foundation, Almér has served as chairman of the European Advisory Committee since 1996.
