Hans Almér
Saab Aircraft AB (retired)

For making safety a high priority in his distinguished aviation career.

His 32 years of flight experience included service as a pilot and engineer in the Swedish Air Force, five years as an airline pilot, five years with the Swedish Civil Aviation Authority Flight Safety Department and 22 years with Saab Aircraft, from which he retired as president.

As an active member of Flight Safety Foundation, Almér has served as chairman of the European Advisory Committee since 1996.

Flight Safety Foundation is pleased to recognize Hans Almér for his contributions to aviation safety and to the Foundation.
